Now available on consignment, a 1973 Fender Bandmaster Reverb TFL5005D.

This model features a 40watt, two channel head with tremolo and reverb, as well as twin 12 inch speakers. Typical of this period Fender, both channels also feature a “bright” switch.

This amp has had a few cosmetic and electronic modifications, the most notable cosmetic mod being the speaker cabinet grille cloth having velcro added to the inside to facilitate easy removal, as well as the back baffle board of the head being replaced & recovered.

Aside from these cosmetic mods, electronically the amp has had a full service, and it retains it’s original power, output, reverb, and choke transformers. At one point, the valve rectifier has been replaced with a solid-state unit. All preamp tubes are original and in working order.

Sonically this is a powerful and clean sounding amp, with plenty of life left in it, and ‘70s tone for days.

Recently serviced by the Guitar Amp Tech in Sydney, this amp is ready to play.
