Fender AVRI '57 Precision Bass 1991 Black

Now available on consignment, a 1991 Fender AVRI '57 Precision Bass.

Produced in the style of a 1957 P-Bass, this features the hallmarks of that year of production; the 'strat' shaped headstock, anodized gold pickguard, spaghetti logo, and the split coil pickup.

This bass remains original, aside from a replacement '59 split coil pickup (original is in the case), the inclusion of two strap-lock buttons, and one replaced screw on the neck plate (likely for another strap pin). The bass has been well played, showing significant play wear on it’s factory black finish.

This bass is well balanced and not too heavy, and plays smoothly with a solid neck, comfortably low action, strung with a set of round wound strings.

Includes a Fender tweed case.
