Now available on consignment, a rare example of a 1962 Epiphone Rivoli Bass in its original blonde finish!
This model was the Epiphone equivalent of the Gibson EB-2, featuring a 30.5" scale length, and a humbucking pickup. This particular example has been played, however presents in decent shape overall having NO breaks or repairs.
Work to the guitar includes:
- The tone pot has been replaced with a Dimarzio unit.
- The original humbucking pickup has had the lead replaced.
- The tailpiece studs are later 60s, and the strap button screws are replaced.
Otherwise the guitar retains its original hardware, period long pickguard, knobs and choke switch. The original frets do have some wear, however they play well with a fairly low action.
A rare example of an early Epiphone Rivoli bass! Includes a modern hardcase, and its original matching hangtag!
