Now available on consignment, a 1969 Gibson SG Standard in its original Walnut finish with batwing pickguard and the maestro vibrola!

This particular example is in great cosmetic condition having NO breaks or repairs.

The guitar remains in fully original condition except for a professional refret a few years ago by Sydney luthier Piers Crocker, meaning the guitar plays perfectly with a low action.

The original patent # decal pickups are unopened, and the original wiring harness remains untouched with the pots dating to the 34th week of 1969.

All of the original hardware is present down to the original maestro vibrola, kluson deluxe tuners, and abr1 bridge with nylon saddles. There is some finish checking and a few dings on the edges of the body, however the finish remains in overall good condition.

This particular guitar has a nice chunky neck profile typical for this year, as well as the 1& 9/16" nut width. A fantastic playing example in collector grade shape, don't miss this one!

Includes its original Stamford import case with original Gibson manual.
