Gibson ES 335TDC 1968/69 Faded Cherry

Now available, a well played Gibson ES 335TDC from 1968/69 in its original faded cherry finish! This example features a great figured top with some stunning checking of the original finish.

The guitar's serial number dates it to 1968, however the headstock logo and 3 piece neck (no volute) places this guitar into early 1969.

Work to the guitar includes:

- An older professional refret with plenty of life.

- At one point the guitar had Grover tuners installed, the original double line kluson deluxe tuners have been reinstalled for some time.

- The truss rod cover was replaced in the 70s with a Gibson part, and the strap buttons are replacements.

Otherwise this guitar retains its 2x unopened mid 60s patent # pickups, all original plastics, and stock hardware minus the formentioned strap buttons.

A fantastic feeling and playing late 60s Gibson ES 335 free from any breaks or repairs. Comes in a period non-original case.
