Strap button screw, saddle height adjustment screws

Now available on consignment, an original 1962 Fender Stratocaster that has been refinished long ago in Dakota Red.

This particular example has all of the desirable pre-cbs features including clay dot inlays, a brazillian slab rosewood fingerboard, and the spaghetti logo. The original neck finish and decal remain untouched, as does most of the original hardware.

The guitar has a few changes including:

- A very old body refinish which is straight over the original sunburst finish.

- Some replaced bridge saddle height adjustment screws, one strap button screw.

Otherwise the guitar retains most of its original parts right down to its original frets and nut. The frets surprisingly have plenty of life, showing wear in frets 2-6 mostly.

There is solder touchup on the volume pot, however the wiring harness appears untouched otherwise. The original stackpole pots date to the 18th week of '62, which is consistent with a neck date of June '62. The original black bottom pickups are all healthy and have their original windings as well.

A great sounding slab-board Fender Stratocaster with a nice worn-in chunky neck profile.

Includes its original brown tolex case in nice condition with the bridge cover and tremolo arm.
