Fender Jazzmaster 1961 Sunburst w Hangtags

Now available on consignment, a great sounding and playing 1961 slab board Fender Jazzmaster in its original 3-tone sunburst finish!

This guitar is one of the tidier offsets to come through here sporting its original hangtags and bridge cover.

There are a few minor changes to the guitar including:

- The guitar has been professionally refretted with slightly larger wire, the original frets were kept and are in the case.

- Rhythm circuit has been replaced with a '58 jazzmaster unit, the original pots are in the case. One ground wire from the input jack has been replaced, as well as the typical foam under the pickups.

Otherwise this guitar retains 2x strong original black bottom pickups and original control pots dating to mid 1960. The original tortoisehell pickguard remains crack free, and it retains all of its original hardware down to the strap buttons.

Comes in its original brown tolex hardcase with tonnes of old case candy from a previous owner (replaced handle).
