Now available on consignment, this great looking early 1972 Gibson Les Paul Custom with its original embossed Gibson pickup covers.
This example features the typical specs of an early 70s Les Paul Custom having the pancake body construction and the 3 piece mahogany neck with the volute.
This guitar retains all of its original parts except for a replaced switch tip and jackplate. Both original patent # pickups are unopened with the solder appearing untouched in the control cavity.
The original fretless wonder frets are of course worn, however play decently compared to many. There are some marks and some buckle rash on the back, however the guitar is free from any breaks or repairs. The binding has yellowed over the years.
A great feeling and sounding early 70s Les Paul Custom with the rare embossed covers.
Comes in its clean original purple lined case.
